I'm looking forward to a good turnout at our public meeting this Thursday on the Green New Deal. It will focus on our proposals to create new jobs and to re-regulate the financial system. It's great that three of the authors of the Green New Deal report are coming to Norwich to talk to residents about the thinking behind the report and the suggestions in it. The report was put together this time last year, before the recession fully took hold, but the ideas in it are even more relevant now.
