Green Party Councillors are pressing 4D Property, the firm now managing Earlham House shops on behalf of owners Relay Arch, to urgently tackle the various maintenance problems at the Earlham Road shopping centre. In particular, Green Councillors are highlighting the problems caused by flooding and potholes in the front car park.
Mr. Rudling from 4D Property said he hoped that the work on the car park would take place in late February. He has pledged that his company will also clean the canopies and gutters, paint the window frames and clear rubbish dumped in the area.
Steven Altman, Green Party Campaigner for University Ward, said: “The state of the front car park is appalling. The owners should urgently ensure that the potholes are filled in and the drainage problems fixed.”
Adrian Ramsay, Green Party Parliamentary Candidate for Norwich South, added: “Tackling these problems would make a big difference to local residents and shoppers and significantly improve the appearance of the centre.”
