Adrian Ramsay MP joins Botesdale & Rickinghall Ramblers for social walk at Redgrave Park

Adrian Ramsay MP, Green Party MP for Waveney Valley, said:

"It was a pleasure to join the Ramblers group in Botesdale & Rickinghall for their weekly walk, taking in the beautiful surroundings of Redgrave Park on a gorgeous day. It was great to spend time with local residents and hear more about what the group means to them.

"What makes this group so special is that it's part of a social prescribing model, local medical centres identify people who could benefit from a bit more company and connection and refer them to join the Ramblers. It's a brilliant example of a simple, community-led idea making a real difference to people's health and wellbeing.

"I want to thank everyone who came along today, and everyone involved in keeping this group going every week. Groups like this are a lifeline for many people, and exactly the kind of community support we should be championing."
